Cavite Road Network Mapping Party

9 people, 3 vehicles, 12 GPS units, 10 ½ hours, 500 kilometers, 13 towns and cities, 1,300 POIs, 1 massive OpenStreetMap mapping party!

This animation shows the progress of three teams going around the Philippine province of Cavite on 11 September 2010 collecting data and GPS tracks. Starting in Alabang, Metro Manila, the teams went south and eventually ended up at the picturesque city of Tagaytay. The collected data was used to improve the crowdsourced OpenStreetMap project.
